Hey! It'sWednesday which means... Shadowhunters TV Show Review!
*THIS REVIEW CONTAINS SPOILERS - I RECOMMEND WATCHING THE EPISODE FIRST*

So Episode 9 - Bound by Blood - was...confusing and intense. The title made me think about City of Lost Souls (the fifth book) because two of the characters are literally bounded to each other in that book, so "Bound by Blood" made me believe that perhaps Sebastian would finally show up in the show but that didn't happen and I think it's to early for that but based on everything that happened in the show I think he could show up any time soon.
Let's start from the beginning. I know how much some people hate Climon and they want it to end and don't worry it's not forever but you know my opinion about Clary and Simon being together, I don't ship it but I like it so the first scene in this episode was quite good to watch. Simon and Clary seem happy, specially Simon. Jace shows up and Clary takes off Simon's shirt and throws it to Jace's face and she didn't know he was there but it was funny anyway. Then Jace surprise the love birds and it's even more funny. Jealous Jace is really something isn't it?
And Simon was really protective about Clary when Jace was there, cute Simon is always good to see.
The moment is interrupted by Clary whose hand suddenly burn. Magnus is the solution.

In Magnus's apartment they found out that Clary has to find Madzie or she dies by the end of the day because of that blood oath (and it's when I associated to the title of the episode and forget about my other option).
Simon and Jace have to work together! And it's kinda funny, in my opinion. It's like watching two men marking territory.
Clary spends the whole episode sicker and sicker, dying and dying and that encourage Jace's motivation to find Madzie and consequently, find Valentine. And I always love to see Jace motivated because of Clary.
That Malec scene, before Simon, Clary and Jace go to Magnus apartment, touched my heart. Everytime I see Magnus truly worried about Alec I ship them even harder, because Alec was always kind of Jace's shadow, I guess, until Magnus come to his life and then Alec becomes someone's light. It's very beautiful to see their development. Besides Alec finally stands up against Aldertree and it was awesome!
Now let's talk about Raphael and Isabelle. I mean we know how much Izzy loves to be bitten by a vampire but NOT that vampire.
When their cooking and Raphael talked a bit about his life was very cute but Isabelle is out of control. I can't even understand if Raphael is really having feelings for her or is just his addiction to nephilin's blood. Same to Izzy and her addiction to vampire venom, and I think that their relationship is only based on their addictions.
Alec shows up and ruins their moment and fight with Raphael. I kinda like to see Alec's overprotective older brother side.
The Downworders' meeting! Oh Meliorn... When he said "I could say the same but I'm incapable of lying" I swear that I almost screamed "LIAR".
And I was wishing that I could see the Seelie Queen but I guess I have to wait a little longer.
And don't hate on me but I loved Clary's moves when she was fighting with Maia!
In the end Jace finds Madzie and that scene between her and Clary was so cute and magical but then the little warlock is still helping Valentine. Then Simon is taken by Valentine and the episodeis over. The first thing I thought was "Simon is becoming a Daylighter very soon". Can't wait for the next episode.
