The Girl On The Train - Book vs Movie

So I finally watched the movie The Girl On The Train and I have to admit it, it was quite good.

As you know, this movie is based on Paula Hawkins's book with the same name and if you follow me on Instagram you know I don't like thrillers in 99.9% of the times and you know that this one wasn't an exception. I didn't like the book, at all. To be honest, I've only read the book until the end because I wanted to know who was the killer.

Although I didn't like the book, I kinda liked the movie and this doesn't happen a lot of times. Usually, I always like the book more than I like the movie, but in this case I prefer the movie.

The movie directors really knew how to do this film. It was so perfectly done and they followed the book so perfectly. They included all the relevant things and they managed the movie in a way that you can really see that it's seen through three different women but that, somehow, they are all connected to each other.

The book was very slow and boring for me. I think that when you read a book you shouldn't try hard to finish it, you should just read it because you really want to know what happens next, what will happen in the end, know the characters and their lives. You should enjoy your reading and not push yourself to finish the book, and that was what happened to me. In some part of the story I just lost my interest to it and to the characters. I just wanted to finish it and know the end. And when I say "know the end" it's not in a good way, it was just because the suspects in my head were basically all the characters in the book and I needed to clarify my doughts. But just that. Not wanting a happy ending, just an ending.

To conclude, the movie was way better and bearable than the book, even though it's not one of my favorites and it's very far from being.
