Hello, angels! And happy Friday!
I just watched the episode today so I'm sorry I'm late. But here I am to another Shadowhunters review, this time, Episode 7 - How Are Thou Fallen.
Malec, Malec, Malec all over the place. The chemistry between them is rising episode by episode! I don't have much to say about Malec moments today, cute as always.
I loved when Alec gave that gift to Magnus! And when Magnus talked about that to Maia, even though he is supposed to talk with Catarina about that kind of stuff. (They kinda replaced Catarina with Maia, I don't know what to think about that).
And Alec wants to go to the next step! ("sex step", quoting Magnus) Magnus seemed a little bit afraid about that, not because he didn't have experience - because he does, like four hundred years of experience - but because he was afraid of losing Magnus...But I think Alec made him change his mind, if you get what I'm saying.

Jace, what the hell are you doing with your miserable life?! Seelies? Really?! That's how you think you're going to forget about Clary? By the angel! I can't wait for him to know...
But I really smiled when Luke was all worried and when he said Clary's name Jace just forgot everything to go look for her.
Other thing, Jace really reminded me of Will Herondale (from The Infernal Devices, in case you don't know who he is) in this episode, I don't know...maybe it's just me.
Isabelle Lightwood... Another person who doesn't know what she is doing with her life! When she is talking I can barely pay attention because I'm to busy:
1) looking to her outfit
2) looking for silver hair! or just a bit of silver in her eyes! I can't concentrate knowing that she is getting addicted to the Yin Fen.
And let's just clarify everything here... YIN FEN IT'S NOT DAMM VAMPIRE VENOM, IT'S A FREAKING DEMONIC DRUG!...Much better now.
And you know who was mention in this episode? JEM! I'm so happy Magnus talked about him with Izzy (although she didn't change her mind). He should've talked more about him but maybe it's just me because James Carstairs in my life is never enough.
Let's talk about the fact that we now know Angel Ithuriel, the angel whose blood Valentine used on Jocelyn when se was pregnant with Clary and whose blood gave special abillities to her, like the fact that she can create new runes, something that only the angels can do.
So Valentine imprisoned him and he is found by Clary and Jace. This happens in the third book, City of Glass, and sometimes I'm afraid that because the show writers are jumping from a book to other book when they should concentrate in the second book (in this case), they could ruin the story or finnish the show and then we wouldn't have a season 3 or 4 or 5 or 6... I don't know, that's how I feel when they rush the events. I don't want it to end.
Other rush: Sister Magdalena's death. This happens in the fifth book, City of Lost Souls and it's Jace who kills her and she is the one who belongs to the Circle not Sister Cleophas. I don't like this change, I think it is very compromising to the future story when Sebastian eventually show up.
About Simon's scenes! He was hilarious! I just love the silly Simon who does movies references that nobody understands.
When he goes out with Maia and he is to early, then Isabelle goes talk to him and I was like...YES SIZZY PLEASE! Sizzy is too underrated in the show in my opinion but I did like Simon's and Maia's chemistry in this episode.
And that's everything for this review! I hope you liked it and don't forget to subscribe to the blog!
